An aware citizen had filed a case against two for demanding bribes from him. The accused had demanded a bribe of Rs 16,00,000, and received the same amount from the complainant. However, the complainant did not want to pay the given amount, so he contacted ACB and booked a complaint. The date of the crime was 5th August 2022 and it was conducted at Circuit House Palanpur. The complaint said that both the accused no. (1) and accused no. (2) together charged a bribe from him.
ACP has apprehended the accused named Shaileshchandra Chandravadan Mehta, Principal, Sir Bhawanisinh Vidyalaya, Danta, District Banaskantha
And Naresh Kumar Kacharalal Joshi Patawala, (duty deferred), Office of the District Education Officer, Palanpur. The officers who were, in this case, are Shri J.P.Solanki, E.Cha Po.Ins. ACB Post Sta. Palanpur who is a Trapig officer and Supervision Officer Shri KH Gohil, Assistant Director, ACB Border Unit, Bhuj.
