Talaash actor Aamir Khan is always peeking for new and unique stories to cater to Indian Cinema. After the remake of Forrest Gump, Laal Singh Chaddha, Amir wishes to explore the Spanish film Campeones.
This film, starring Javier Gutiérrez, draws its inspiration from the Marco Montes, Valencia-based Aderes team’s coach. The team has individuals with intellectual disabilities and won twelve Spanish championships between 1999 and 2014.
Amir took this movie because he is a sports enthusiast. Still, he was last seen in movies based on sports in Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar in 1992 and Lagaan in 2001.
R S Prasanna, known for his work on Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, will helm the Indian adaptation of Campeones.
Prashanth Neel stole the spotlight with his last film KGF: Chapter 2. It is like a ticket to fame-land for Telegu actors to work with him. But Prashanth chooses the only Bahubali of the industry, Prabhas.
Salaar, a Telugu film, is on hold since Neel has told Prabhas to shed at least eight kilograms before appearing in front of the camera.
Some details of this new project are outed. The movie will be in 2 parts, but the shoot will occur concurrently.
According to sources, Prashanth Neel and Prabhas intend to release the first chapter of Salaar on April 14, 2023, the day KGF 2 was launched.
Secondly, Yash, who plays the lead in the KGF series, will partake in the Salaar promotion alongside Prabhas.
