In yet another case of impersonating a high-profile account, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap on Sunday called out a scamster who seems to have posted a fake casting call for another season of the show “Sacred Games.”
The director took to his handle to clarify that there is no season 3 and that he will file an FIR against the “unnamed” for the fake post. Shortly after the filmmaker’s post, the account was deactivated.
“This man rajbeer_casting is a scamster. Pls, report him. There is no season 3 happening. I am filing an FIR against this person,” read Kashyap’s post on Instagram.
Sacred Games, a crime thriller series, featured Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Radhika Apte, Girish Kulkarni, Neeraj Kabi, and Jeetendra Joshi in key roles. The first season of Sacred Games, consisting of eight episodes, was released on Netflix in July 2018. The second season premiered in August 2019.
