Trends – India’s largest apparel and accessories speciality chain of Reliance Retail has announced an interesting contest ‘Selfi with Kites” during the kite flying festival Uttrayan for its consumers.
Across 40 stores in Gujarat, Trends would be connecting with consumers through the contest. Entries would be invited from its customers wherein they will have to share a selfie of themselves from their homes along with a kite. Consumers would have to send their entries on a dedicated WhatsApp number.
The selfie adjudged as the “best colour coordinated theme for Uttrayan” will be awarded the first prize with a gift card worth Rs 55,000. While gift card worth Rs 2000 as second prize and six consolation prizes will be awarded. All participants will get a Trends discount coupon which can be collected from the nearest Trends store.
The announcement about the contest will be through WhatsApp communication to consumers as well as Trends Leaflets that will reach consumers through door-to-door distribution.
Post receiving the entries, Trends would send out a ‘Thank You’ message to applicants on Whatsapp for their participation. The Winner’s announcement also will be made to all participants on WhatsApp. The winners will be invited to the nearby Trends store and total prizes worth Rs 10,000 per store will be presented.
