Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Business Women Committee headed by Chairperson Kusum Kaull Vyass and IPR Task Force today organized a seminar on basics of patent, trademark, design, and copyright.
“This seminar was aimed at simplifying and explaining the nuances of trademarks, designs, patents and copyrights and how it is helpful to women entrepreneurs in identifying the IP and their innovations contributing to the Economy,” said Jatin Trivedi, Chairman, IPR Task Force in his opening address.
Head of GNLU’s Centre of IPR, Nidhi Buch gave an insight on patent and industrial designs and also highlighted the legislative framework for the same.
Types of trademarks and their benefits were discussed at length by advocate Vidhi Trivedi of Nanavati and Nanavati Advocates. She in her address highlighted different types of trademarks and their benefits.
