According to Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the minimum temperature in Ahmedabad can fall up to 10 degrees Celsius on Saturday. With a fall of 3.6 degrees Celsius in maximum temperature and a decrease of around two degrees Celsius in minimum temperature, the city recorded a maximum of 26 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 11.7 degrees Celsius on Friday.
The weather forecasting department further stated that several parts of Gujarat will experience the cold wave for the next two days including Gandhinagar, Rajkot, Junagadh, Kutch, Banaskantha and Porbandar. These places may experience chilled winds with a fall in normal temperature. With the winter taking its space in a full-fledged manner in the state, the experts have asked the citizens, especially the chronic diseases patients, infants and elderly people to avoid exposure to the chilled winds.
On Friday, the lowest minimum temperature in the state was recorded in Naliya at 5.4 Degrees Celsius.
