Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar’s Curiosity Lab and Centre for Cognitive and Brain Sciences are organising an online camp, ‘Camp CogSci’ for introducing kids, parents and teachers to Cognitive Science, Artificial Intelligence and Neuroscience.
Focused on school understudies of classes eighth to twelfth other than educators, guardians, and researchers of training, the goal of ‘Camp CogSci’ is to produce energy, interest, and have a good time during learning. The
The main objective of the camp is to generate excitement, curiosity and enjoy the time during learning. ‘Camp CogSci’ is for the students of eighth to twelfth grade other than the educators, parents and scholars. The sessions are focused on acquainting students with the professional and instructive potential outcomes that exist today inside the field of Cognitive Science.
‘Camp CogSci’ will be carried on from 7th to 9th January 2022. The interested candidates can register using the following link – https://www.curiositylab.iitgn.ac.in/camp.
Talking about the camp, Prof. Jaison A Manjaly, Principal Investigator, Curiosity Lab, IIT Gandhinagar, said, “Curiosity Camps offer an opportunity for students, teachers, and parents to explore the possibilities offered by Cognitive Science in various domains of society, science, and technology. The Curiosity Camps aim to introduce novel perspectives in learning while building awareness of the multiple career paths that exist and are supported by institutions such as the IITs”.
Cognitive Science is an interdisciplinary field that ganders at the convergence of brain research, software engineering, Neuroscience, reasoning, etymology, and humanities to concentrate on the human psyche and conduct. Camp CogSci (Cognitive Science) will present how specialists concentrate on the psyche, mind, conduct, and intellectual cycles like consideration, insight, learning, and navigation.
The Camp additionally sets new opportunities for younger students to cooperate with personnel from foundations of advanced education. The Participants can find out with regards to the secrets of the psyche and cerebrum and gain mindfulness on logical exploration and openings. The participants will also get to see the experimental tools used to study the human brain.
Curiosity Lab conducts logical exploration to see how to further develop interest among understudies while learning. The ‘Curiosity Camps’ are a Curiosity lab outreach drive to build interest and make learning fun.
Most students are uninformed that Cognitive Science is an interdisciplinary region that concentrates on the psyche and mind through Arts and Sciences. The Centre for Cognitive and Brain Sciences at IIT Gandhinagar likewise offers academic programs in something similar.
