The exam question paper for recruitment of Head Clerk was reportedly leaked on December 12, hours before Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board held the exam.
Reportedly, 11 persons, among whom Ketan believed to be the mastermind behind the leak, have been detained by Sabarkantha police. Moreover, a car bearing Himmatnagar registration number plate has also been seized.
The bank accounts held by Ketan are being investigated to find the money trail, as per the sources. And it is alleged that he took Rs 10 lakh from all candidates who received solved answers to the question paper. While three others accompanied him in doing so.
The paper was circulated to about 42 students. The Home department is likely to release an official statement on the matter today.
