While replying to a tweet, maverick entrepreneur and world’s richest person Elon Musk praised the Indian-origin talent in technology.
Some of the world’s top tech companies, such as Google, Microsoft, IBM, Adobe and now Twitter are all headed by persons who grew up in India. It is amazing for both India and US together as one provides roots and other wings to a talent.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk endorsed the Indian talent after Parag Agrawal was appointed as the CEO of Twitter.
“USA benefits greatly from Indian talent!” Elon Musk said in a tweet.
In his late 40s, Parag Agrawal is the latest Indian-origin person at the helm of a major US-based tech company after Google’s Sundar Pichai and Microsoft’s Satya Nadella.
Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey handed over the reins to Parag Agrawal saying “He leads with heart and soul ,and is someone I learn from daily. My trust in him as our CEO is bone deep”
Joining Twitter in 2011 and becoming the Chief Technical Officer in 2017, Parag Agrawal has been “behind every critical decision and has helped turn the company around” Jack Dorsey had said about Parag.
