If you’re planning to go down the creative route this weekend, start on a ‘stringy’ note with the 079 Stories String Art Workshop. It will be a marathon 3 hours 30 minutes session conducted by Vidur Giri, a maestro in the art of strings with an experience of almost a decade. Participants will get to pick up nuances and learn concepts and techniques of the art. Partakers will be given a 15″ square PVC board – pre-painted blackboards or canvas wrapped ones that can be painted with acrylic paints. All materials including nails, strings hammer, a template to make the nailing easier, 25-30 string options, 15-20 acrylic paint shades, brushes, et al, will be made available at the workshop.
