After 20 hours of massive hunt, the Gandhinagar police and other forces successfully traced the father of the abandoned kid and identified him as Sachin Dixit and recognized the kid as Shivansh. Addressing a press conference, Gujarat’s MoS, Home Affairs, Harsh Sanghavi said that “Sachin Dixit is the father but his wife is not the mother of the child. The identity of the kid’s mother is yet to be learned. He is being brought from Kota with his wife and the police will question him after that.”
Now, according to the latest information, Kid’s father Sachin Dixit is being taken for medical tests. Dixit’s wife, Anuradha was interrogated by the police in Gandhinagar, earlier in the day. While interrogation, she said that she was in Kota, Rajasthan at her parents’ place to attend a family function and has denied having any clue regarding any extramarital affair of her husband.
Also, Shivansh’s mother’s name has been recognized as Mehndi, who works with Sachin Dixit in Vadodara. The reports claim that Sachin used to live in Vadodara from Monday to Friday with Mehndi and used to come back home to stay with his wife, Anuradha on weekends.

After getting to know about Shivansh being abandoned, Mehndi’s aunt Anita said that “I didn’t know anything about it. I came to know about the incident in the morning when a relative informed me. Looking at the kid’s photo I was shocked to know that the kid was Shivansh because Mehndi can’t leave Shivansh alone for even five minutes. She would leave him with me and nobody else. In fact, on October 7 Mehndi sent us the videos of Shivansh, which was the last talk I had.”
“We shifted to Gandhinagar two and a half years back and Mehndi used to live with us as she had no one to take care of, her mother had passed away eleven years ago and she had disputes with her father so she was not in contact with her. She lived with us during her pregnancy also. When Shivansh was six months old, they left for Vadodara to live with Sachin,” she added.
Mehndi’s uncle and aunt said that they never interfered with their personal life, we thought them to be happy in their life and that is why we never tried to enquire about anything.
Mehndi’s aunt further said, “I know Shivansh well, his likes and dislikes, his food habits, his routine, everything. He used to be with me more than Mehndi and that is why I want Shivansh so that I can take care of him and keep him safe until Mehndi is traced.

Mehndi is reportedly not receiving the call and is said to be an event manager by profession.
Notably, Mehndi’s uncle and aunt are facing issues concerning their home as their landlord has asked them to vacate it due to Shivansh’s case.
