On October 2, 2021, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) raided a rave party on a Cruise ship off Mumbai Sea and apprehended some rich kids for illegally possessing 3 grams of Cocaine, 21 grams of Charas, 5 grams MD and 22 MDMA pills. Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan is one among them. The others are Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Chhoker, Gomit Chopra, Munmun Dhamecha and Arbaaz Merchant. Curiosity is building over who the other persons are, hobnobbing with Aryan the Simba to Shah Rukh’s Mufasa.
Arbaaz Merchant
Arbaaz Merchant is an actor and close friend of Suhana and Aryan, the daughter and son of Shahrukh Khan. Social media accounts such as Instagram throws many a clue to their closeness as he is often found partying with Suhana and Aryan. He appears to in the inner circle of chosen few amongst the star kids as he is seen partying with actor Ananya Pandey also who is daughter of actor Chunky Pandey. Arbaaz is rumoured to have dated actress Alaya Furniturewalla in past.
Arbaaz’s Insta bio reads “Made you look at my bio anyway” – which in a way sounds ironical after his arrest in the Mumbai cruise drug haul.
Munmun Dhamecha
Reportedly coming from a business family, 1998 born Munmun Dhamecha is a fashion model. She belongs to a Sindhi family, reported to be based in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh. She also appears to be quite close to many a Bollywood celebrity.
Munmun’s has a brother, Prince Dhamecha, who works in Delhi. Her mother had passed away last year. She completed her schooling in Sagar. Later, she lived in Bhopal for some years before shifting to Delhi with her brother six years ago.
Mohak Jaswal, Nupur Sarika, and Gomit Chopra all are residents of Delhi. Mohak and Nupur are both fashion designers, while Gomit is a hair stylist and a celebrity makeup artist
All of them are arrested under Section 8C, 20B, 27 of NDPS (Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act.
