Targeting a number of Hamas terrorists who played significant roles in the October 7 massacre, the Israeli Air Force struck Beit Lahia in northern Gaza overnight between Wednesday and Thursday.
Jihad Mahmoud Yahya Kahlout, a company commander in Hamas’s Nukhba unit and Muhammad Riyad Ali Uqal, another Hamas company commander, were among the terrorists killed, according to a statement from the Israel Defense Forces.
Both were in charge of organising the October 7 attack against Israel and planning the massacre and kidnapping of Israeli residents at the Mefalsim junction close to Sderot.
According to the Israel Defense Forces, these two terrorists were also important figures in Hamas’ continuous conflicts with Israel in the northern Gaza Strip.
