British band Coldplay has announced an additional India concert, this time in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The band is set to perform at the Narendra Modi Stadium on January 25 2025, shortly after concluding their three shows in Mumbai. Tickets for the newly added show will be available from 12 p.m. IST on November 16 via BookMyShow.
Coldplay announced the Ahmedabad date on November 13, sharing the news on social media platform X with the post: “2025 AHMEDABAD DATE ANNOUNCED. The band will play their biggest ever show at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 25 January 2025. Tickets on sale Saturday, 16 November at 12 pm IST. #MusicOfTheSpheresWorldTour.”
Ticket bookings for the Ahmedabad concert will follow a process similar to that of the Mumbai shows, featuring a virtual queue with a waiting room. When sales open, fans will be allocated queue positions using an Automated Queue Randomisation System.
Attendees can look forward to Coldplay’s celebrated hits, including Yellow, The Scientist, Clocks, Fix You, Viva La Vida, Paradise, A Sky Full of Stars, and Adventure of a Lifetime.
This Ahmedabad performance follows Coldplay’s previous announcement of three Mumbai concerts on January 18, 19 and 21 2025. The band, comprising lead vocalist Chris Martin, guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, and drummer Will Champion, last performed in India in 2016 at the Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai.
Coldplay’s upcoming shows mark their return to India after nine years.
