To enjoy their winter vacations more conveniently, passengers flying from Ahmedabad’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (SVPIA) will soon have extensive travel options as IndiGo has now introduced four new routes starting from December this year.
As part of the airline’s winter schedule, these routes will connect Ahmedabad with Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati, Kochi and Kolkata.
Flights to Thiruvananthapuram will be four times a week beginning on December 10. They will leave Ahmedabad at 4:25 pm and arrive in Thiruvananthapuram at 7:05 pm. The return flight will depart at 7:35 pm and arrive in Ahmedabad at 9:55 pm.
An additional daily flight to Guwahati is scheduled to depart Ahmedabad at 8:30 am and arrive in Guwahati at 11:15 am. The return trip is scheduled to leave Guwahati at 4:55 pm and reach Ahmedabad at 8:35 pm.
A second direct service from Ahmedabad to Kochi will be provided by flight 6E 6237, which will leave at 4:25 pm and arrive at 6:45 pm. 6E 6238, the return flight, is scheduled to leave Kochi at 7:15 pm and arrive in Ahmedabad at 9:50 pm. This route will be available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Furthermore, at 9:20 pm, a new daily service to Kolkata will leave Ahmedabad and reach Kolkata at 11:15 pm. The return flight is scheduled to arrive in Ahmedabad at 3:45 pm after departing from Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport at 12:50 pm.
Sources told Vibes of India that by providing an increased number of direct travel alternatives across India, these new routes improve connectivity and ease for passengers departing from Ahmedabad.
