Nick Jonas made a hasty exit from the stage during the Jonas Brothers’ concert in Prague after a laser was aimed at him, sparking panic. Videos circulating online show Nick performing alongside his brothers, Kevin and Joe Jonas, when he noticed the laser and quickly ran for safety. He also signalled to his security team about the potential threat. Meanwhile, Kevin and Joe remained on stage.
Concertgoers reported that the Jonas Brothers briefly halted the performance while security teams addressed the situation. The individual responsible for aiming the laser was quickly identified and removed from the venue. Many fans expressed their dismay over the incident but were relieved to learn that Nick was unharmed.
“Why are people like this!!!?!?!?” commented one attendee. Another fan praised Nick’s quick thinking, noting, “They have a sign to indicate danger. That’s smart,” in reference to the hand signal he gave to his security team. A third individual shared their concern, writing, “Absolutely terrifying 🙁 I’m glad he’s okay.” Another social media user raised questions about the venue’s security measures, asking, “How did the guy with what they said was a laser make it past security?”
As of now, Nick has not publicly addressed the incident. In contrast, Joe Jonas appeared to downplay the situation, sharing a picture from the Prague concert on his Instagram Stories.
The incident occurred just a day after Nick, who is married to Indian actress Priyanka Chopra, returned to Instagram. On Monday, he posted a series of photos, stating, “Been taking some me time from social media. Until I had this great photographer take these cool pics of me in front of this blue wall. #enjoy #imback.”
