Ratan Tata, the former chairman of Tata Sons, has refuted claims that he was hospitalised due to a significant drop in blood pressure. The 86-year-old industrialist took to Instagram to assure his followers that he is in good health and undergoing routine medical check-ups due to his age.
Reports had surfaced stating that Tata had been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai in critical condition between 12:30 and 1:00 a.m. However, Tata addressed these rumours directly on social media, dismissing the claims as unfounded.
“I am aware of recent rumours circulating regarding my health and want to assure everyone that these claims are unfounded. I am currently undergoing medical check-ups due to my age and related medical conditions. There is no cause for concern. I remain in good spirits and request that the public and media respect and refrain from spreading misinformation,” Tata wrote.
Following initial reports of his hospital visit, concerns about his health spread on social media. However, Tata’s swift clarification reassured his fans and followers that he was doing well.
