Devara: Part 1, featuring Jr NTR in the lead role, has grossed over Rs 200 crore globally within two days of its release.
Released on Friday, the pan-India film earned Rs 172 crore on its opening day. Devara: Part 1 also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, both making their debut in Telugu cinema, and is directed by Koratala Siva.
The movie’s box office update was released by its makers on X (formally Twitter).
“Weapons of DESTRUCTION.unleashing FEAR that no corner can hide from!! ‘#Devara’ #BlockbusterDevara (sic)” the post read, stating the movie had grossed over Rs 243 crore since it hit theatres.

The movie is described as a fast-paced action story that takes place in India’s overlooked coastal regions. In five languages—Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada—it was released on Friday.
