Today on International Women’s Day Cyber Awareness Seminar was held at Government Spine Institute of Ahmedabad Civil Medicity. Hospital Director Dr. Piyush Mittal to make women aware of cyber crime activities. A seminar on cyber security was organized under the leadership of Ahmedabad Civil Medicine Government Institute in which students and women employees of Civil Spine Institute participated. It was planned that the women serving in the hospital as well as the students would find this information useful and they would also bring awareness among the women around them.
Dr. Piyush Mittal said that a seminar was held on how to avoid cyber crimes like cyber bullying, cyber fraud, blackmailing of women by uploading obscene photos of women. He said that there are 18-year-old students in his institute, this seminar was organized to prevent such crimes from happening to them and to make them aware about it. This was a Special program conducted for students and women employees.
This trend has increased in today’s society, especially in schools and the amount of such crimes has increased and it was revealed that such an incident happened in our institution. So we decided to hold this seminar.
In this seminar, the Crime DC briefed the women in detail about cyber security and cyber related crimes and vigilance against them. In the seminar, DC of Ahmedabad Cyber Crime Mr. Rajeevan, ACP J.M. Yadav, and PI Manju Patavada gave detailed guidance to the women on cyber crime prevention measures and precautions to be taken. Dr. Piyush Mittal also inspired women workers.
P.I. Manju Patawada also said that they conduct cyber awareness programs for women from time to time, so that women are aware of cyber crime and do not become victims of such crime. Today on Women’s Day, they conducted this awareness seminar at Civil Spine Institute. Earlier they also conducted a cyber awareness program in Rachna School, in which they informed the teachers about cyber crime. She also said that by conducting cyber awareness programs women are now alert. He said that if anyone is a victim of cybercrime, they should call the 1930 helpline number immediately.
