Books take me to a different world.
What does the word “Books” mean? For me, it means a different world that you enter, a world full of pictures, dialogues, characters and fun. It keeps you alive, so here I share my experience with it.
When I was young, I detested books. I thought that they were a waste of time. One day, I was very bored. At that time, people kept asking me to read books. I was irritated and tired of saying no, so I just picked up a book. In no time, I started enjoying it. I got interested in that book and so absorbed that I developed the habit of reading. I still remember the book that kick-started the reading process for me. It remains one of my favourites to date. It is called Malory Towers. Generally, I choose books based on the genre.
The genres that I prefer are: –
Mystery
Thriller
Boarding school-based
My three favourite books in order are: –
1) Malory Towers
Author – Enid Blyton
The book is about two girls and their adventures in boarding school.
2) Nancy Drew
Author – Carolyn Keene
These books are a series in which a girl goes out with her two friends and solves the most peculiar and fun mysteries.
3) Chicken Soup
The book is about the ups and downs of one’s life and the solution that helps you to know that you are so lucky to be alive and have so many facilities. I am currently reading is chicken soup for the teenage soul.
Books enlighten your souls with interest and curving curiosity. You may not remember the stories you have read, but the habit of reading and how the books made you feel is etched in your memory forever. To me, reading is essential for people who want to be above the ordinary.
To conclude, I have a simple rule or motto = I DON’T READ TO LIVE BUT I LIVE TO READ. A READER EXPERIENCES MANY LIVES BEFORE HE DIES, BUT THE ONE THAT DOES NOT READ EXPERIENCES ONLY ONE.

Awesome…loved it
Super stuff ! All kids should be inspired to cultivate reading not as a hobby but imminent need :)))
