Manchester-based strategic growth and investment firm, York IE, has announced its expansion in Ahmedabad, marking a significant milestone in its global growth strategy.
The newly established Ahmedabad office will serve as York IE’s global capability centre for Product Strategy and Development services. It will house a team of skilled professionals dedicated to bringing successful products and websites to life for burgeoning Software as a Service (SaaS) companies.
Over the next five years, York IE has ambitious plans to transform its Ahmedabad office into a global acceleration centre. The centre will host various business units, including product development, marketing, financial operations, and revenue operations, and is expected to employ 500 individuals. In a strategic move to ensure a consistent inflow of highly skilled professionals, the firm plans to collaborate with Gujarat’s top engineering colleges.
Kalrav Parsana, head of York IE India, expressed his optimism about the expansion. “This ambitious plan positions York IE as a premier destination for top-tier product managers and engineers,” he said. “A key element of our strategy is tapping into the rich talent pool fostered by Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar’s esteemed educational institutions.”
Parsana further added, “We hope that York IE will become a beacon of Gujarat’s burgeoning potential. This marks a significant step in the state’s journey to becoming a key player in the global business ecosystem.”
Since its inception in 2021, York IE India has seen significant growth, expanding from an initial team of 15 employees, sourced from local IT company ACW Technologies, to a robust team of 105.
York IE offers a wide range of development services, including application development, software engineering, backlog management, quality assurance, testing, user experience design, and platform modernization. Additionally, the firm provides product strategy services, such as product positioning, roadmap development, launch planning, pricing and packaging, and website development services.
