On Tuesday morning, at 8:53 a.m., earthquake tremors were felt in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir. According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the intensity of the earthquake was measured at 3.6 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of the earthquake was 10 kilometers deep near Kishtwar.
The tremors were also felt in Jammu, Srinagar, Udhampur, Reasi, Ramban, and other nearby districts, apart from Kishtwar district. No casualties have been reported due to the earthquake.
