Ahmedabad: The Chandola Lake in the city will be developed. The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has issued a tender for the development of Chandola Lake. The lake will be developed in two phases. It will be developed like the Kankaria Lakefront. AMC opposition leader Shahzad Khan Pathan said that the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has taken steps to develop the historic lake. After the request of the commissioner in the corporation, the development of Chandola will be done in two phases. In the first phase, its beautification will be done. In the second phase, the slum dwellers will be given permanent houses and its development will be done. The good thing is that the commissioner has positively filled the steps for the development of Chandola and kept it in the tender process.
The tender process for the development of Chandola Lake has begun. This lake of Ahmedabad city is historic. Along with that, Chandola is the largest lake in the city.
