BJP Gujarat State President C R Patil has urged people to participate in the ‘JanMan’ survey on the NaMo app on X (former Twitter), which aims to gather public opinion ahead of the 2024 elections. The survey provides an opportunity for citizens to voice their views on what constitutes holistic development and to share their perspectives on the progress made in the last ten years.
This Tuesday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) launched an online survey, ‘JanMan’, on the NaMo app, aiming to tap into public sentiment ahead of the 2024 elections. The party shared the survey link on social media, urging citizens to download the NaMo app and participate.
The survey, featuring a set of straightforward multiple-choice questions, seeks to gather diverse opinions on various aspects of governance and leadership. It aims to understand public opinion on the developmental work undertaken by the central and state governments, as well as in their local constituencies. The survey also includes a question about the performance of local MPs and allows respondents to rank three popular BJP leaders in their constituencies.
The party plans to use the survey findings to strategize for different Lok Sabha constituencies ahead of the 2024 elections. The survey will also help identify regions where Prime Minister Modi’s intervention could enhance the party’s performance.
This is not the first time the BJP has conducted such a survey. Similar surveys were conducted in June 2018, ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, and in August 2021, before crucial assembly elections in five states: Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa, Manipur, and Punjab. These surveys helped the party gather ground-level insights and plan their campaigns and candidate strategies accordingly.
