In a significant development, Advocate Brijesh Trivedi was elected as the President of the Gujarat High Court Advocates’ Association (GHCAA) on Friday. Trivedi secured a decisive victory with 1,060 votes, outpacing his closest competitor, former GHCAA President Pravinsinh Jadeja, who garnered 580 votes.
The election also saw Advocate Virat Popat ascend to the position of Vice President. Meanwhile, Advocate Hardik Brahmbhatt successfully retained his role as General Secretary for the third consecutive term, securing 835 votes.
Further, Advocates Bhavik Pandya and Darshan Dave were elected to the positions of Joint Secretary and Treasurer, respectively.
The elections were held on Friday morning, with the results announced later in the day. The newly elected officebearers are in the process of shortlisting names for the executive committee. The GHCAA community eagerly awaits the announcement of the new committee members.
