The basketball team of the Income Tax Department has been on a winning streak, dominating the state basketball competitions for the past eight years. In a recent victory, the Income Tax team became champions for the eighth consecutive time in the Senior Men’s Gujarat State Inter-District Championship held at Panchot in Mehsana district.
The Income Tax team defeated Bhavnagar 100-92 in a thrilling final match, showcasing their exceptional skills and teamwork. Earlier in the semi-final, the Income Tax team secured a resounding victory against Ahmedabad with a score of 103-56.
This achievement has been met with praise and congratulations from Gujarat PR CC and ITS & RC Yeshwant Chauhan, Rajitha CIT (Adm & TPS) and Vijay Jaiswal CIT (A) and President (Sports) Income Tax Sports & Cultural Club, Gujarat as well as Umesh Pathak Secretary (Coordination) Income Tax Sports & Recreation Club, Gujarat.
