There were reports claiming that the actress is dating her co-star Raj Anadkat. Munmun Data has finally spoken against the trolls for slut-shaming her and age-shaming to allegedly have a relationship with TMKOC star Raj Anadkat who plays the role of Tappu. Both actors have an age gap of around nine years.
Munmun Dutta penned two notes, one each for trolls and a section of the media where she wrote that she was ashamed of calling herself the daughter of India. She further said that all the trolls and media who published the report caused her mental pain.
In one of the notes, she stated that she had better expectations from the public however the filth that people have showered in the comments section has proved how regressive our society is.
She further said that women are constantly age-shamed, slut-shamed, mom-shamed at the cost of public humour. “It took 13 years of entertaining people and took only 13 minutes to rip my dignity apart.”, she said in one of the notes.
Concluding her post, she wrote that she was ashamed of calling herself a daughter of India.
