A Rajasthan government official on Saturday asserted that contrary to what Union Minister Amit Shah had claimed, the state’s Congress government stands for development, dedication, and dialogue.
Lokesh Sharma, the Officer on Special Duty to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, made this statement in response to Shah’s claims made earlier in the day, that the state’s Congress government had been marred by riots, the oppression of Dalits and women, and other problems.
“AmitShah ji, You have said correctly. Rajasthan is a 3D government. D Development, D- Dedication, D- Dialogue,” Sharma said in a tweet.
The Rajasthan government, according to him, is committed to each individual. Every significant decision, he continued, is made through discussion, whether it is related to the budget, health, or any social security scheme.
“Amit Shah must be aware that Vasundhara Raje did not even communicate with his ministers and MLAs whereas Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot directly interacts with the public,” Sharma said.
Earlier in the day, Shah spoke to party members at a Booth Maha Sammelan in the district of Bharatpur. He said that Rajasthan has a “3-D government,” where three Ds stands for ‘dange’ (riots), ‘durvyavahar’ (ill-treatment) with women and ‘Dalit’ atrocities.
