MICA Ahmedabad, India’s premier B-school for Strategic Marketing and Communications is going to host its 13th edition of TEDx talk on the theme ‘Strikethrough’ on February 12.
The independently organized event, licensed by TED, will host eight speakers who will share their experiences of making a breakthrough instead of erasing their errors.
The speakers include Mini Mathur, actor, model, TV host, and VJ; Atul Tiwari, actor, film writer, Thespian, and museum maker; Shatbhi Basu, India’s first female bartender, author, and entrepreneur, Harsh Kedia, CEO, a diabetic chef, author, featured in Asia’s Forbes 30, Monika Halan, writer, author, speaker, chairperson – advisory committee for investor protection and education fund (SEBI), Shalini Prakash, venture capitalist, founder, and investor – Purple Matter, author; Sai Ganesh, quizmaster, founder – India wants to know, and Dinesh S. Thakur, public health activist.
A second-year student and TEDxMICA organiser Yashvi Kampani and Trayambak Gour said this year’s theme is ‘Strikethrough’ – an ode to starting over – no matter how many trials it takes. Adding, it will help to connect with interesting and inspiring people, learn about new and innovative ideas, and have a chance to bring those ideas to the wider community through the TEDx event.”
