At Ahmedabad City Police Headquarters in Shahibaug on Friday, a Lokdarbar with the subject “May We Help You” was held under the sponsorship of City Police, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC), and other banks.
In Ahmedabad and throughout the state, according to Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghavi, immediate action is being taken against usurers. The minister observed a number of clusters that have turned into the city’s zone vices throughout this incident.
Minister Sanghavi said that Lok Darbar is special because after hearing the complaint of the complainant, action is taken against the accused and the victim gets justice. It is seen that poor people get trapped in the quagmire of high interest charged by moneylenders. This type of usury affects the entire family of the victim.
The victim’s social standing also declines in such a circumstance. He praised the Ahmedabad Police and noted that they are protecting the underprivileged from the Lok Darbar occurrences.
Not just in Ahmedabad, but throughout the entire state, this action is being taken. The Minister of State for Home stated that numerous clusters had developed during this Lok Darbar, wherein the officers, employees, and jawans of the Gujarat Police and Police had received praise from the general public, the elderly, and many parents.
