Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad stated that 1.3 lakhs “weak booths” were identified by the BJP during its National Executive Meeting, adding that the required measures would be done to improve them.
Speaking at a press conference, Prasad added that there has been no discussion of extending the current party president JP Nadda’s term, which ends this month. Prasad said, “Calling the victory of BJP in Gujarat ‘historic’, Nadda during the meeting said Prime Minister Narendra Modi led from the front and others need to learn from him.”
Prasad added that Nadda praised India’s advancements under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the meeting held behind closed doors.
The roadway being built every day has increased from 12 km to 37 km, making it the world’s fifth-largest economy, the second-largest maker of mobile phones, and the third-largest manufacturer of automobiles, according to the party president.
Nadda instructed the party’s national executive to make sure the party does not lose in any state during the conference, and he also stressed the significance of the several state Assembly elections that would take place this year in preparation for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
