AirAsia India, a joint venture of Tata Sons and AirAsia Investment Limited, has announced that it will begin flight operations from Surat with Bengaluru, Delhi and Kolkata and connecting itineraries to Bhubaneswar, Kochi, Guwahati, Goa, Hyderabad, Ranchi, Lucknow, Chennai, Jaipur , Visakhapatnam and Srinagar from 3th March, 2023.
However from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh flights will be from the 5th of August, Lucknow will be the 18th airport in the AirAsia India network.
According to the details shared by the airline, it will be operating daily direct flights from Lucknow to Bangalore, Goa and New Delhi from 5th August 2022, and to its other two hubs, Mumbai and Kolkata from 1st September 2022, with a total of 112 weekly direct flights connecting Lucknow to these cities.
The flights will also connect Lucknow through convenient one-stop itineraries to other airports on its network, such as Srinagar, Kochi, Hyderabad, and Guwahati.
Earlier, Air Asia India announced that it will commence 21 weekly direct flights connecting Delhi to Bhubaneswar, and Bengaluru to Jaipur, from October 30, as part of its winter schedule.
