The contest ‘Nagar Geet Samarat’ gets its name from the historic defeat of Tansen, the music emperor by two sisters Tana and Riri after performing beautifully; both of them belonged to Nagar caste.
In short, the winner of the contest will not just stay at home with a trophy but this contest aims to create a playback singer who will reach the highest level of singing. Not only in the current world, but also in the past, music is an excellent and melodious art.
