German Bionic, a robotics company, has announced that it will display new AI-powered smart wearable tools at the CES in 2023 that will revolutionise workplace safety in physically demanding jobs by making work safer, less taxing, and more appealing. Apogee, Smart SafetyVest, and German Bionic IO are a few of the new smart wearable tools.
German Bionic CPO Norma Steller said in a statement,“With our new wearables, we are empowering hard-working people with the tools they need to do their jobs more safely and sustainably. Both our new ergonomic wearables –Apogee and Smart SafetyVest — as well as our award-winning Cray X exoskeleton enable us to provide the right support for just about any company or work environment where manual work is performed and with the German Bionic IO data platform, we also deliver a powerful analytics tool for workplace ergonomics and processes,” she added.
Apogee is the company’s next-generation wearable smart robotic tool. It is even lighter and more comfortable than its predecessors, and its application range is expanded. It easily integrates into workplaces and has an immediate impact on industries that require heavy lifting and carrying.
At the touch of a button, the Smart SafetyVest combines advanced sensory capabilities with AI power to provide data-driven, personalised ergonomic insights, as well as assessments and recommended actions. Furthermore, German Bionic IO is a cloud-based software platform that manages and analyses workplace ergonomics and safety practises intelligently. It intelligently analyses data from Apogee, Cray X, and Smart SafetyVest, using machine learning and AI to continuously learn and improve safety effectiveness with each movement of the wearer.
