The two actors were in a relationship that ended 15 days ago, according to the First Information Report, or FIR, of the case. According to reports, Tunisha Sharma was under stress, which is thought to be what pushed her over the brink.
Addressing the media outside the police station, Mr Zutshi, who states that he wasn’t present on sets at the time of the incident, said, “I was called for questioning by police and was asked general questions. I can’t comment on her relations, I don’t have any idea, it was her internal matter.”
Police confirmed that her postmortem was conducted at Mumbai’s JJ Hospital early on Sunday morning and said there were no signs of trauma to her body. Initial investigations revealed she had suffocated to death.
When taking a tea break during filming, the 20-year-old actor was discovered hanging in the bathroom, according to Waliv police, they had to force open the door after she hadn’t emerged for a while. Around 1:30 am, the shooting team rushed her to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Although Tunisha Sharma’s coworkers asserted that she committed suicide, a police check on the spot revealed that no suicide note had been found. They stated that they would look into her death from both a murder and a suicide perspective.
