Prime Minister Modi on Monday took a jibe at Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra for the first time by holding a rally in Surendranagar’s Dudhrej. In his speech to the rally, PM Modi stated that while people are traveling for work nowadays, the public should not fall into the trap of such people. It is worth noting that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra is currently underway, and for the first time in an election rally, PM Modi made a dig at Rahul Gandhi.
Modi slammed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi Bharat Jodo Yatra, saying those who have lost power are embarking on a yatra to reclaim it. Addressing Surendranagar, Gujarat, he also stated that some people abuse Gujarat even after eating salt produced in the state. Gujarat produces 80 percent of the country’s salt, he added. Modi claimed that long-dethroned people were embarking on a yatra to reclaim power.
Prime Minister Modi said that the Congress speaks the language of pride. They are discussing medicine. It is stated that they will display the status. Our mission is to help others. He belongs to the Raj family, and we are Sevabhavi. It is our responsibility to lead Gujarat to new heights of development. I understand that providing 24-hour electricity to every house in Gujarat is a difficult task, but I must persevere. I work very hard.
Regarding farmers, the Prime Minister stated that there was a time when you had to stand in line at night to get urea. Once upon a time, urea could be purchased at a bar. Urea is now being delivered to farmers on time. We have to import urea from elsewhere; the central government pays $2000 for urea, and we give it to farmers for 270 rupees. We’ve recently introduced nano fertiliser. A hiker is unaware of the terms “cotton” and “groundnut.” He also stated that Gujarat produces 80 percent of the country’s salt.
The prime minister said that instead of discussing development, the congressmen are discussing my weaknesses. You called me ugly, low caste, a merchant of death, a dirty sewer worm, and now you say, “Show okay,” “Oh, we have no okay,” “discuss development issues,” and “come to the field to develop Gujarat.”
PM Modi stated, “First and foremost, I thank the saints from the bottom of my heart, and I believe that the saints’ grace never diminishes.” Saints’ words are timeless. This is my fortune, and it is all of our fortunes. PM Modi tweeted that if any district would benefit the most from the Narmada scheme, it would be Surendranagar, and that benefit has now reached you. We have completed this work within the constraints of the resolution.
Modi stated that previously, in terms of education, parents were concerned about how their children would be educated; now, everyone is admitted to Gujarat; previously, Gujarat youth had to travel to other states for education; and now, youth from other states come to Gujarat for education. Gujarat built around 4000 colleges, which improved the education system; today, there are around 600 ITI colleges in Gujarat. Previously, even bicycles were not manufactured in Gujarat; now, airplanes will be manufactured there; this is referred to as “development.” Finally, the Prime Minister said, “Your Surendra, Narendra, and Bhupendra, this Triveni Sangam is ours.”
