Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched 5G services in India at the Indian Mobile congress 2022 which was inaugurated by prime minister Narendra Modi in the presence of industrialists Mukesh Ambani, Sunil Bharti Mittal and Kumar Manglam Birla, and Akash Ambani.
At the same seminar, Jio introduced a 5G connected ambulance which would be capable of digitally transmitting all vital information of the patient to the hospital in real-time. Thanks to 5G, the hospital will get important information about the patient’s health before the arrival of the ambulance.
It will help the doctors present at the hospital to make all the necessary arrangements before the arrival of the patient, in case of a medical emergency.
The face of the medical industry is set to change in the future. The 5 G-enabled ambulances will have a robotic arm to perform an ultrasound and X-rays. Not only that, Jio True 5G will enable a radiologist or sonographer sitting hundreds of kilometres away to easily operate it.
The change in the medical field in a country like India is going to be dramatic with the advent of 5G. The villagers will not have to be harassed for basic medical needs like X-ray and ultrasound or go to bigger cities as the report can also be obtained at home.
This robotic arm in the ambulance will directly connect city-based radiologists with rural patients. Jio 5G Healthcare Automation is working on the technology of such 5G controlled robots that will be able to deliver medicines and food to isolation wards apart from other patients.
Cloud based 5G controlled robots will ensure the possibility of error to be negligible. Reliance Jio is launching 5G service on Diwali.
