On Wednesday, Reliance Industries and Indian Olympic Association (IOA) announced their successful partnership with the vision to support athletes from India in mega sports events like Commonwealth Games, Olympics, and Asian Games.
Under this partnership, both the parties have also decided to establish the first-ever India House at Paris Olympics 2024. According to an official statement, this partnership also will ensure the company’s commitment to the Olympic event.
To confirm further, Nita M. Ambani, Member of IOC and Director of Reliance Industries, said it was their dream to see India take center stage in sports. She confirmed that this partnership will provide Indian Athletes with top-class infrastructure and opportunities.
Even the Secretary General of IOA, Rajeev Mehta, thanked Reliance Industries for the partnership and for showing continuous support over the years to Indian Sports and Athletes. He said that this will be a monumental event for Indian Sports to have an India house at Paris Olympics, in 2024.
What makes it more crucial is coincident the 140th IOC session scheduled in June 2023 with the 75th year of Independence. The vision is to focus on the importance of Indian Sports and India’s contribution to the Olympic Movement.

Nations with Olympic Hospitality House can bring in games depending on the Country’s culture and sporting History. In the 2016 Olympics, 50 nations set up their Hospitality house because such house ensures engaging sportsperson, officials, team players, and their families. It also means that the culture of the nation will be better understood.
