Gujarat on Tuesday recorded a total of 889 new Covid-19 cases along with 826 recoveries and one death in the last 24 hours.
Ahmedabad reported a highest of 315 fresh Covid-19 cases in the state on Tuesday with one death. Ahmedabad was followed by Vadodara with 95 cases, Surat with 71 cases, Rajkot with 60, Mehsana with 46 and Patan with 44 cases on Tuesday’s tally of total number of positive cases in the state.
The number of total Covid-19 cases in the state reached 12,50,009 with tally of total number of recovered cases reaching 12,33,370 and active cases to 5,675 on Tuesday. Apart from this, the death toll in the state reached 10,964.
According to the Health and Family Welfare Department of Gujarat, a total of 2.96 lakh people got their vaccination against Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. The total doses administered by the state stood at 11.43 crore on Tuesday.
