After the Hooch tragedy in ‘dry’ state Gujarat claimed life of over 30 people, oppsition parties have raised some serious questions against the ruling Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) in the state.
Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is all set to hold a protest outside the Delhi headquarters of the saffron party, BJP today on Wednesday at 1 pm.
Informing this on micro blogging site Twitter, AAP leader Durgesh Pathak on Tuesday said, “In Gujarat, more than 30 people lost their lives after drinking spurious liquor being sold under the patronage of the BJP government. This is murder. Aam Aadmi Party will protest against it tomorrow at 1 pm at BJP’s headquarters, Delhi.”
The hooch tragedy at Rojid village in Botad district of Gujarat has so far claimed around 41 lives with more than 45 people hospitalized and many in critical condition. The police have arrested several people in connection with the case for allegedly mixing chemicals with country-made liquor and also for selling the said concoction.
