Bhavnagar Sir T Hospital Admits More Than 65 Patients After Latthakand

Bhavnagar Sir T Hospital witnessed the continuous flow of patients from villages around Botad and Ahmedabad. More than 65 patients from Barwala, Botad, Dhanduka, and Panthak of Ahmedabad were referred to Bhavanagar. According to the sources, the hospital buzzed all night with the ambulance sirens as the patients kept coming.

Further, seven dialysis units have been dispatched from Ahmedabad Hospital following renal failure recorded in certain patients.

According to recent reports, ten patients have died in the hospital, and many are in critical condition. The spurious liquor has taken the lives of at least 36 patients until now. Many patients are still in the hospital fighting for their lives.

A patient was transferred to a private hospital for treatment in Bhavnagar. On July 25, a medical team from Bhavnagar rushed to Botad as soon as they received the news of the deaths. Moreover, the range IG also rushed to Botad along with the medical team that provided the necessary medical equipment.

As the number of patients in Botad Hospital continues to increase, the seriously affected are being moved to Bhavnagar for treatment. As the process of shifting patients to Bhavnagar Hospital was carried out from late yesterday evening, till this afternoon as many as 65 patients were admitted to Bhavnagar Hospital, while one patient was admitted to a private hospital.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal rushed to Bhavnagar in the wake of the incident in Rojid village of Barwala and met the affected people. At this time, he raised a question about the liquor ban before the media and said that the day the Aam Aadmi Party comes to power, the liquor ban will be followed in a real sense in Gujarat.
