Indian-Origin Gangster And His Friend Found Dead In Canada

| Updated: July 25, 2022 21:00

In Canada’s famed ski resort of Whistler Village, two people of Indian descent were shot and killed on Sunday (local time), including Brothers Keepers mobster Meninder Dhaliwal.

The Vancouver Sun reported that while Dhaliwal passed away, his companion Satinder Gill, who was not a gang member, passed away from his wounds in a nearby hospital. The report indicated that both males had received several gunshot wounds.

Vancouver Police Chief Adam Palmer stated, “The photographs that we present today represent those who pose substantial public safety hazards here in the City of Vancouver.”

According to the reports, the ski resort of Whistler was on lockdown due to the incident. On April 17, 2021, in Coal Harbour, the 29-year-old Dhaliwal’s elder brother Harb was fatally shot.

According to the authorities, the incident might connect with the current gang conflict in the Lower Mainland.

“The Sea-to-Sky RCMP were able to find and detain several suspects because of the dynamic response and quick evidence gathering by the police. Due to the fast action of the Sea-to-Sky RCMP members, there is no future risk to the public. Even though this was a blatant daytime shooting in a populated community,” said Officer Timothy.

He said, “We discovered a burnt car in the 3300-block of Ptarmigan Place. We believe it has some link with the murders.”
