Welspun Corp has commissioned a manufacturing facility in Anjar, Gujarat, which will have a highly-advanced blast furnace and a sinter plant. The unit will use inputs from their existing manufacturing set-up of BIS-certified steel billets and direct reduced iron to manufacture Thermo-Mechanically Treated (TMT) bars.
