BTS member Suga gave a pleasant surprise to his fans as he performed his song ‘That That’ with singer PSY at latter’s concert on Saturday. Suga arrived onstage at the Summer Swag 2022. This was the first time when both singers performed live together.
Suga dressed for the concert in a white T-shirt, a beige shirt, a pair of blue ripped jeans, and sneakers. The audience cheered as the vocalist and PSY performed. Suga offered fans a preview of his “mic drop” moment as the song came to a finish. He later gave PSY an embrace as the two grinned. Suga waved and kissed the spectators as well.
The elated fans shared videos on Twitter expressing their shock and also praising Suga. A person wrote, “Min Yoongi performing on that that woahhhhh this is insane.” Another fan said, “Yoongi looks so good.” “The screams for Min Yoongi, his energy, his performance, his dance moves, the mic drop at the end, cute interaction with PSY, oh gosh I am going insane here!” read a tweet.
After post-concert, Suga shared his pictures on Instagram. He put a caption saying, “hey, I”, the beginning of his verse in That That. PSY also shared a clip which included him performing at the concert and later having a meal. He wrote, “Yesterday felt like dream… And.”
The lead single from PSY’s ninth studio album, That That, was produced by Suga and PSY in April of this year. Suga is responsible for producing the song. A number of the singer’s collaborations are featured on PSY 9th, such as Happier with K-pop artist Crush and a cover of the 1984 song When the Rain Begins to Fall by Jermaine Jackson and Pia Zadora with MAMAMOO’s Hwa Sa.
About his collaboration with PSY, Suga said, “At first, because he’s many years my senior and someone well-respected in the business I was quite nervous. It felt like working with a childhood friend so it made the songwriting process that much more fun. We became besties in a way.”
