Samrat Prithviraj, the much-hyped Akshay Kumar film directed by Chandra Prakash Dwivedi, saw a sharp decline at the box office. With some growth over the weekend, it is receiving a lukewarm reaction in the numbers.
With a budget of around 150 crores, the movie collection has dropped 55% compared to its Sunday performance.
Sonu Sood said, “It might not have got as much business as expected, but we should accept that things are different after the pandemic.” He plays the character of Chand Bardai in the movie Samrat Prithviraj.
The film marks the Bollywood debut for Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar, who plays Sanyogita. It also stars actors Sanjay Dutt, Manav Vij, and Ashutosh Rana.
