After a much-awaited time, the Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starter and one of the most anticipated movies, Brahmāstra, will release on 9 September 2022. Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani fame, Ayaan Mukherji, has dirceted the movie and Karan Johar has produced it. Further, the movie features Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni. A few days ago, the Brahmāstra teaser gave cinephiles a sneak peek of the entire cast and characters.
During an interview with Variety, Ranbir Kapoor said, ”The movie is deep-rooted in the Indian culture. We had the opportunity to create our own Marvel, which Ayan is trying to do with his Astraverse. Authentic and compelling stories made in our culture connect to a larger audience.” He called Alia, Ayan, and himself, three best friends who are excited and privileged to be a part of this movie. He added, “It was a part of my vision, and I would love to do it again and again.”
The movie is a three-part fantasy epic. Further, Ranbir said, “Brahmastra is not an end in itself, but a means to a larger end.” The makers of the film have high hopes from the box office.
