Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Gujarat tomorrow, landing first in Rajkot and then visiting Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. He is set to inaugurate several developmental projects in the state and also address a meeting of leaders of cooperative institutions in the state.
First thing in the morning, PM Modi will visit Rajkot city, where he will take a tour of the newly-constructed Matushri K D P Multispeciality Hospital in Atkot area. He will also address a public meeting here.
This hospital, managed by Shree Patel Seva Samaj, will offer high-end medical equipment and world-class healthcare facilities to the people.
Following this, PM Modi will reach Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar to address a meeting of various cooperative institutions on the subject of ‘Sahakar Se Samriddhi’. The meeting is expected to be attended by over 7000 representatives.
Gujarat has one of the most successful cooperative industries in the country. There are 84,000 societies in the cooperative sector with about 231 lakh members in the state.
While here, PM Modi will also inaugurate Nano Urea (Liquid) Plant built at IFFCO, Kalol. This plant, constructed at a cost of around Rs175 crore, will produce about 1.5 lakh 500-ml bottles of urea daily. Use of this mineral leads to increase in crop yield.
