Shilpa Shetty’s mother Sunanda Shetty registered a complaint with the Mumbai Police in a Rs 1.6 crore land deal case. Police said that one Sudhakar Ghare has been named in the complaint. As per Mumbai Police, Shilpa Shetty’s mother Sunanda Shetty claimed that the accused sold the land to her using fake papers.
Ghare, with the help of fake papers, had sold her land for Rs 1.6 crore, as claimed by Sunanda. A case has been lodged under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. This comes after Shilpa’s husband, Raj Kundra was apprehended on July 19 along with 10 others including his business associate Ryan Thorpe and was remanded to 14 days’ judicial custody on Tuesday.
The 45-year-old businessman has been charged for obscene and indecent advertisements and displays of the IPC. The Mumbai police said that he has also been booked under relevant sections of the IT Act and the Indecent Representation of Women.
