Uddhav Thackeray, Chief Minister of Maharashtra, recited a line from Ramdas Swami’s ‘Maruti Stotra’ while warning his opponents. He said that if anyone confronts Shiv Sena, they’ll show the demonstration of ‘Bheemrupi Maharudra,’ which means the one with the strength of Bheem. The statement made by the CM of Maharashtra outlined a sequence of incidents over the last nine months.
Shiv Sena had given a combative glimpse of themselves as the party workers took over the streets when someone targeted Thackeray. The political drama over Hanuman Chalisa elevated more after Thackeray’s statement. The party workers said that situations are different now as they were under Bal Thackeray. However, they will not abide by bullying and will redress.
Shiv Sena And It’s Belligerent Roots
After the death of Sena’s supreme, Bal Thackeray, his son Uddhav Thackery filled his shoes with a similar resilience and enthusiasm. Currently, the BJP wants to put him under the shadows. It has led to Uddhav resorting to aggression, a brand of Sena’s functional politics.
Political analysts say that the alliance of BJP and Shiv Sena suffocated the latter and didn’t give it enough space to move. Now that the conflicts exist between the two former friends, Thackeray has demonstrated that he will not yield.
