As India reels under destruction and caused by communal clashes, another advocate of Hindutva has come under fire. Sadhvi Rithambara asserted that India will soon become a Hindu Rashtra and urged Hindu couples to produce four children and dedicate two to the nation.
Rithambara, the founder of Durga Vahini, the women’s wing of the Vishva Hindu Parishad, said that women these days followed the rule of having two kids, but that she wants them to have four soo that two o0f them can be dedicated to the nation. She also asserted that the two kids could serve the nation by becoming VHP workers.
Furthermore, she talked about the riots that happened during the Hanuman Jayanti celebrations, saying that those who attacked the procession were just jealous of the country’s progress and the excellence of the government.
Rithambara’s remarks came as was recently she addressing a Ram Mahotsav program at Nirala Nagar in the city of Kanpur.
